Every day, lakhs of people in Delhi trust a bus to get them to school, work, hospital and home. DTC Bus Routes exists to make that trust easier.
A bus is never just a bus. It is a student reaching class on time, a worker starting a shift, a grandmother going to see her doctor.
Our job is to make that one small moment at the bus stop feel certain. You are standing at a bus stop. A bus arrives with a number on it. You have one question: does this bus go where I need to go? Asking strangers, guessing, or boarding the wrong bus costs time, money and peace of mind.
Delhi has one of the largest bus networks in the country, and its route data is public. But raw data is not help. We turned it into something you can use in seconds, on any phone, in your own language, without signing up for anything.
That is the whole idea: take something complicated, make it simple, and give it back to the people who need it every day.
Three tools, built around how you actually think about a journey.
Enter your stop, your destination and the number on the bus. Get a clear YES or NO before you board.
See every direct bus, quickest first. Tap a bus to see where to get on and off, and the full route.
Look up a bus: all its stops in order, first and last bus, and how often it runs.
Four things we will not compromise on.
No fees, no sign-up, no account. Public transport information should be open to everyone.
Your location is used only when you tap Near me, and it stays on your phone. We do not track you.
We tell you plainly when something is an estimate, and we show how old our data is. No false certainty.
Big buttons, short steps and English and Hindi, so it works at a crowded stop in bright sun.
Route and stop information comes from the Delhi Open Transit Data, published by the Department of Transport (GNCTD) and IIIT-Delhi. It covers DTC buses and cluster buses.
DTC Bus Routes is an independent project. It is not run by DTC, DIMTS or the Government of Delhi. Timings are scheduled estimates and routes can change, so please confirm with the conductor before you board.
The tool is built and maintained by Abstract Classes, with one belief: good technology should make everyday life a little easier for everyone.
